My name is Cher. I'm a travel photographer, filmmaker, and creative director with a background in architecture — a degree from Penn State University, with minors in Sustainability Leadership and International Arts that took me from the studios of Rome to the savannas of Tanzania. That training still shapes how I see: space, composition, and light first.
I started my career as an architectural lighting designer in New York City. In 2021, I left the corporate path for a more intentional, nomadic life. I've been traveling full-time ever since, producing cinematic photo and video for hospitality brands, destinations, and lifestyle brands, including recurring work with Samsonite and Radisson Hotels.
My work is grounded in emotional honesty and an eye for the subtle — the quiet, human moments inside a place, not just the postcard version of it. I bring that same sensibility whether I'm directing a brand campaign or shooting for myself.
Architecture taught me structure. Travel taught me story.
I try to build both into everything I shoot.
